A VERY EARLY AND WELL WORN WEHRMACHT BELT AND BUCKLE.

If only this could tell a story as it looks like it’s been through the war right from the beginning! Steel buckle has lost all of the original paint and the metal has just taken on a dark brown patina. As far as I can see there are no markings to the reverse. The belt is quite long and is amazingly thin and supple. You can feel and see it’s been used A LOT! There is a regimental mark/stamp in the leather. Looks like 1/Pl.83 I as far as I can see. No damage, just heaviky worn. Great item.
