WW2 DAF - Deutsche Arbeitsfront Award plaque in case. Featuring an eagle surmounting a DAF cogwheel and the inscription ' Für Bewährung im Leistungskampf der Deutschen Betriebe '(For perseverance in the performance of German companies) and to the reverse: ' Verliehen von der DAF Gau Schleswig-Holstein ' (Awarded by the DAF GAU SCHLESWIG-HOLSTEIN ) and the Gau shield. Silvered zink plate by C.R. Hein. Maker marked on the obverse and measuring 7cm x 7cm. Contained in a DAF marked case which is now in a/f condition.
