THIRD REICH ALLOY WHERMACHT BELT BUCKLE AND LEATHER KEEPER.

I’m not quite sure where this buckle has been, but it’s been exposed to damp at some time, perhaps it’s possibly ground dug. However, the pebbled alloy buckle itself is in remarkable condition. The moisture has just affected the claw fitting on the back and this is oxidised and ceased in place. The leather tab is with the buckle and this is contorted into a crumpled shape and is quite dry. It has a maker still visible stamped in the leather and dated 1936. Quite a unique item. If only it could talk!!
