ORIGINAL THIRD REICH WAR MERIT CROSSES IN FACTORY ENVELOPES AND PAPER. MINT UNISSUED.

Following a recent trip the biggest militaria show in the world, I picked up a few interesting pieces. On the table next to ours was an American dealer with a variety of items, one was a foot locker from an American GI veteran. Amongst the cloth items and US bits and pieces, this GI had obviously raided a factory or retail shop and bought back these medals. All are untouched, in the original factory brown paper envelopes, with the medal wrapped in wax paper. Unopened! The original length of ribbon is folded inside. These are all War Merit crosses 2nd Class without swords in bronze finish.Each packet is marked on the reverse with the same makers ink stamp. I have 6 examples. All made by Gebr.
