A ' Restricted ' Ministry of Supply Fighting Vehicles Design Department report ' Water Resistance of Certain Amphibious Vehicles. 1948, Copy No.9 report runs to 12 Foolscap pages with 6 additional pages of b/w photographs. Vehicles involved include the DUKW, Terrapin, Neptune, LVT.3, LVT.4 and interestingly a German Trippelwerke S.G.6 model 38. Report analyses their performances at trials undertaken at the Welsh Harp reservoir at Hendon. Unusual.
