British No.7 MkI/L Bayonet

A good example of a British No.7 MkI/L Bayonet for use with the No.4 Rifle. Stamped designation to ricasso with other acceptance stamps including ' M78 ' indicating manufacture by Elkington and Co., Birmingham who produced the smallest number ( 20,000 ). In excellent overall condition with undamaged, red, tuffnel grips, swivelling pommel and bright blade with some very light marking. Accompanied by a blackened '37 pattern webbing frog.
