Luftwaffe Enlisted Mans Overseas cap

A standard enlisted ranks overseas cap, which has seen much service wear but has only recently come to light from a recent house clearance. Hand applied Luftwaffe eagle and cockade with a further Luftwaffe alloy eagle applied to the side of the cap indicative of its souvenired origins. Alloy eagle is now damaged with a detached wing and missing swastika but has clearly been there for some considerable time evidenced by the witness marks to the nap of the cloth. Lining is the standard grey twill with clear evidence of wear and residual maker's markings which appear to indicate a size 57. Good, used condition with a small moth hole to the seam at the back. A good honest untouched souvenir.
