1914 Prussian O/R's buckle.

A white metal and brass Prussian o/r's buckle with leather tab dated 1914 with details of an Offenbach manufacturer. This example bears damage which could well have been inflicted in the conflict. The white metal centre has been hit from above and to the side with sufficient energy to tear and remove a section and force cracks radiating from the point of impact. Patinated overall, a characterful example.
