An uncommon WWI period fund raising paper badge in the form of a large chicken's egg tied in a patriotic red, white and blue bow and portraying a large Red Cross, ' Patron H.M. Queen Alexandra ' title above and ' National Egg Collection 154, Fleet St, London ' below. Good, used condition, retaining original single pin fitting, with some minor nibbles to edge.
