ORIGINAL THIRD REICH CLOSE COMBAT CLASP

Part of a large collection purchased last week. This is an original WW2 German Close Combat Clasp or Nahkampfspange. This one is probably in bronze, but most of the original finish has come of the surface. Instituted on 25 Nov 1942 and came in 3 grades Bronze, Silver and Gold. The bronze one was for 15 days in consecutive close combat action.
This one is complete, including the backing plate. Nice brass horizontal pin and hook. Makers mark of FLL for Friedrich Linden of Lüdenscheid. Not a mint example but 100% real and priced accordingly.
