WW1 Carlton China Crested Tank.

China tank by Carlton China modelled on a MkI tank in the form of an unpractical money box. The design was created featuring the new-fangled ' land-ship ' in this case nicknamed ' Creme de Menthe ' which became famous for it's actions at Flers-Courcelette on the Western Front on Sept 15, 1916. Featuring the crest of Dover to one side and updated with Victory inscriptions and allusions to the battle of Cambrai. Large 15cm x 8.5 x 6.5cm example in good undamaged condition.
