WW2 Luftwaffe Flak Section Visor Cap.

WW2 Luftwaffe O/R's and NCO's visor cap piped in red for Flak branch. Size marked 56 1/2 and dated 1938 with a clear Hamburg maker's trademark present to the interior in the diamond left by the missing celluloid protector. Unit marked I/Flak.R.6 present to the reverse of the headband. Leather headband has areas of damage with a section that has been relatively crudely re-stitched with some minor tears.
Woollen body undamaged with no signs of moth damage, similarly with the red piping. Vulcan fibre peak with green underside. Aluminium wreath surmounted by a second pattern eagle both of which appear to be original to the cap with no obvious signs of removal. Good, honest cap.
