Bruce Bairnsfather ' Old Bill ' Wall Plaque - When the Hell is goin' to be Strawberry ?

25cm approx china wall plaque by the Grimwades company featuring a design by the well known WW1 artist Bruce Bairnsfather. Featuring a decorative border of trench war paraphernalia with a central cartoon entitled ' When the 'Ell is goin' to be Strawberry ? ', one of Bairnsfather's 1915 designs. The reverse features the Grimwades logo and the script ' Made by the Girls of Staffordshire during the winter of 1917/18 .Undamaged condition with light wear to the gilded rim.
