South African Produced Water Bottle.

1943 dated South African produced water bottle. Typical kidney shaped, steel water bottle with a distinct spout and stopper. Painted matt green rather than enamel with a 1943 dated 37 Patt cradle and unmarked strap other than serial number. The base of the bottle is stamped ML C.T. 1943 indicating manufacture by Maythams Ltd, a subsidary of Metal Box Company based in Capetown. Good, used condition.
