3 x maps, previously the property of a cavalry officer showing areas of France to the North East of Cambrai. 1:40000 Sheet 51A general map centered on Denain and Valenciennes ( Sept.1918 ).1:20000 51A S.E. Enemy Organisation 12.10.1918, centred on Escarmain and 1:20000 51A S.W. Enemy Organisation 15.10.1918 centred on Jolimetz. These maps were prepared post the battle of Cambrai and the break through of the Hindenburg Line as German forces were in full retreat. The 1:20000 show various details from airfields to areas of felled trees or undergrowth. All maps in good used condition with various areas of minor foxing, marking etc.
