German WW1 shoulder board for Leutnant rank of an officer in the Prussian Infantry Regt.8. Sew -in type with subdued wire with Prussian colours in chevron mounted on white cotton underlay indicating Infantry. A now faded gilt ' 8 ' is affixed to the board indicating the Regt. Board has been roughly removed from a uniform, common when acquiring such pieces at the time.
