ORIGINAL SS STEEL BUCKLE- CAREFULLY DE-NAZIFIED!!

With the astronomical price of SS combat buckles, they are now £700+, plus the prevelance of many good reproductions, I thought I would buy this 100% original SS steel combat buckle as an example of what they should be!! This one carries some perfect stamped marking that are on the edge, under the claw belt adjuster. These read RZM 155/43 SS. The buckle has most of the silver finish still on the reverse but most has come off the front apart from around the circular motto area and in the backgrounds. The buckle has been de-nazified by punching though the centre swastika. It actually looks like a bullet hole, but probably is just done with a hammer and punch. These buckles are not flimsy, very solid steel, so it would have taken considerable effort. A great talking point to any collection.
