THIRD REICH LEATHER CASE FOR MG34/42 ACCESSORIES.

This is the rare leather gunners pouch for the MG34/42 machine gun. Worn on the normal combat leather belt and would have contained the ‘spider sight’ as well as various tools etc. The pouch is in good overal condition with the leather exterior strap showing a little age, but still sound. Profusely stamped inside with many ink markings. The exterior is stamped with the letters DLWP 1939 and beside it is a great eagle and swastika Waffenampt mark. This case was a souvenir bought back in WW2 and has been used as a ‘useful’ case since then. The previous owners father removed the inner compartment for the spider sight and the other retaining strap, so he could get maximum interior capacity for other things. A shame really as a complete one is worth £400-500 now. However, if you are just looking for one to display, use as a re-enactor or for a mannequin display, this is priced to please!
