Wartime NAAFI Insignia.
Uncommon insignia for a uniformed officer of the NAAFI ( Navy, Army and Air Force Institutes ) . Created by the British government in 1921 to run recreational establishments needed by the British Armed Forces, and to sell goods to servicemen and their families the NAAFI played it's greatest role during WW2 when it ran 7,000 canteens and had 96,000 personnel including control of ENSA.
This KD slip on shoulder insignia displays the NAAFI colours and the insignia of an Inspector. Good, used condition.
