Die-cast metal badge in a matt grey finish. The badge features a striking design of an eagle with downswept wings, that form the shape of the badge. At the base is a swastika within a circular wreath. There is a central inscription reading ' FRANKENTAG HESSELBERG 1939 '. A retaining pin is attached to the reverse and manufacturer marked ' RZM M9/12 C.BALMBERGER NÜRNBERG '.
