Standard issue British Army, all steel jack knife. Known in the cutlery trade as the ' Burma knife ' the all steel knife was designed to replace the traditional knife in tropical theatres. Dated 1945 and manufacturer marked ' H Rowbotham & Co, Sheffield ' and ' oil the joint ' with knife blade and integral can and bottle opener. This example has evidence of sharpening to blade and in good, used condition.
