WW1 IMPERIAL GERMAN UNTOUCHED M16 STEEL HELMET.

An 'as found' M16 helmet that has not been played with, over-painted, or messed with. The original 'coal scuttle' helmet as they used to be called by the veterans. A very good finish to the exterior, no rust etc, and there are traces of what seem to be original camouflage treatment. The head of one of the band rivets is missing, but the rest of the river is there still holding the liner. Interior has the original and correct leather band and the original leather liner with horse hair filled pockets. It also has its ORIGINAL leather chin strap. Bearing in mind this is now a true ANTIQUE and is now 108 years old, this is in amazing condition. All the leather interior liner is supple and not dried out with no discernible damage.
