A group of 4 Atherstone Volunteer Infantry Officers coatee Buttons C1798-1802. Approx 16mm, sliver plated coatee buttons bearing the letters ' AVI ' entwined, surmounted by a Georgian crown. Manufacturer's initials and the word ' plated ' to reverse. Atherstone in Warwickshire formed its own infantry volunteer corps under Capt Abraham Bracebridge. Uncleaned, toned condition all with intact shanks and undamaged.
