All brass Type III SA buckle with square-set swastika as opposed to the more commonly found rotated swastika. Believed to be made by Assman, these buckles feature a droop winged Party eagle with its head below the wreath clutching its distinct horizontal swastika and represent an uncommon variation. Steel pin and roller fastening with brazed retaining catch. Good, used condition with some surface marking and light corrosion to catch.
