Victorian Anglesey Light Infantry Officer's Tunic.
A good example of a Victorian scarlet tunic to an officer of the Anglesey Light Infantry. Fine red Melton tunic with blue facings to collar and cuffs, white piping and silver brocade. Full size silver buttons by Jennens to chest, cuffs and fishtail. Fully lined with partial padding and internal pockets to skirts with a later inscription identifying the tunic as belonging to the Royal Flint rifles. Single shoulder board and later rank pips to collar. Some minor repairs and some minor moth tracking and damage. Uncommon example of a tunic to a volunteer unit.
