WW1 British Red Cross Orderlies Cap Badge

A scarce example of the large Red Cross square cap badge worn by ambulance drivers and orderlies, this example of red and white enamel retains both loops and makers details of Armfield & Co.Ltd., Birmingham and issue number 5504. Good, clean condition with bright gilt and undamaged enamel with some light surface marks.
