WW2 Polish Signals Badge.

Badge in the form of a circle, with black and blue colours to the rim. In the centre an armoured arm holding a sword with thunderbolts in the background, worn by the Polish Signal personnel above the left pocket.
This example, typical of many WW2 Polish badges, has been made of cast alloy with a threaded post secured by a brass nut. Many Polish personnel wore insignia that was produced at unit or individual level and this original example is typical. Painted colours worn and minor corrosion to reverse, black felt backing.
