Uncommon WW2 Wehrmacht Transport Officer (Schirmmutze) visor cap. Heavily used example by the manufacturer ' VIRO ' - Willy ROHE ( VIRO ) KOBLENZ Schlosstr. 45. Featuring the blue waffenfarbe indicating the transport arm this officer's cap has a padded bullion cockade surmounted by an alloy eagle. The headband and peak underside show the evidence of heavy use with a residual manufacturer's label to crown. There is a smattering of moth pinholes to top pf the crown and areas of the piping are grubby. Good honest example of a cap with an uncommon piping.
