Sectioned No.75 Hawkins Grenade.

An officially sectioned Grenade,hand,No.75,A.T.Mk.1. Introduced in 1942 and designed primarily used as an anti-tank mine this particular example was manufactured in Jan.1943. Containing either Ammonal or Nobels 704 the grenade was intiated by pressure onto the striker plate breaking the capsules of the No.27 igniter and detonating the explosive. This example has been sectioned and filled with a composition to represent the explosive and repainted complete with markings. This item was obtained directly from an EOD source.
