A scarce original WW1 VTC Leicester Citizens Training League lapel badge. Gilt and enamel construction featuring ' L.C.T.L. ' design to centre on white enamel ground, surmounted by a heraldic Wyvern from the crest of Thomas of Lancaster. Manufacturer's details ' Geo Tarratt Leicester ' impressed to reverse. good condition, with original buttonhole fitting, and no damage but a flaw to the enamel at 5 o'clock
