38cms x 30cms board mounted image of the Yorkshire Hussars - winners of the Scarbrough Cup in 1922. Clear image shows their shooting team armed with Hotchkiss machine guns as befits a cavalry unit. The regiment was reformed as horsed cavalry under Lt-Col G R Lane Fox , they were winners of the Cup five times in seven years from 1921. Light foxing to mount, good overall condition.
