No.5 Bayonet Mk.I

An excellent, used example of a No.5 Bayonet Mk 1, second pattern designed for use with the No.5 Jungle Carbine. This pattern differs from the first pattern in having two bolts securing the grips as opposed to one. This example comes with a MkII scabbard Manufacturer's marks ' P 1946 ' to ricasso indicating manufacture by R.O.F.Poole ( a small but unknown number produced post-War ) with inspection stamp to top of bayonet retention. Inspection arrow to scabbard otherwise unmarked. In above average, used condition.
