38cms x 30cms board mounted image of the Yorkshire Hussars - winners of the Scarbrough Cup in 1923. Clear image shows their shooting team armed with Hotchkiss machine guns as befits a cavalry unit. The regiment was reformed as horsed cavalry under Lt-Col G R Lane Fox whose signature appears in ink on the card mount, they were winners of the Cup five times in seven years from 1921. Light foxing to mount, good overall condition.
