Coloured F.S. for an officer cadet of the KRRC The aspirant nature of the wearer was signified by the 35mm wide tape worn as a cap band whilst at OCTU. Green wool body with red backed, blackened KRRC o/r's cap badge and black composite Rifles' buttons. Red, brushed cotton lining with ink ownership details with the old soldier's ploy of keeping the crown together with paper clips. Interior shows heavy use but exterior is largely undamaged with a minor moth graze behind the OCTU band. Good, characterful example.
