WWII No.36M Mk I Hand Grenade.

A particularly good condition British, WWII, No.36M MkI Hand Grenade. Features approx. 95%+ of the original brown lacquer with manufacturer marking ' JPS' to body, indicating manufacture by John Pilling and Sons Ltd of Colne Lancashire. 1943 dated base plug marked ' JP&S ' manufacturer Joseph Parkes & Sons. All parts present with filling ring clear and present as well as the red oxide type sealant to the filling plug. An excellent example.
