Embroidered No.3 Commando shoulder title. A good used example, clearly having been removed from a uniform along with the classic Combinded Operations badge. These examples came from a No.3 Commando grouping with another combination of shoulder title and sleeve badge. In excellent used condition, moth free.
No.3 Commando had the distinction of carrying out one of the first raids on the Lofotens. This was followed by Dieppe, Sicily and Italy before Normandy and the Rhine Crossing under their colourful CO. Durnford-Slater.
